Our rearing – just naturally
We ourselves breed our premium category waterfowl and take them to the market. Free range is not a marketing trick for us, but a natural way of livestock technology which we have maintained since the beginnings. Healthy fodder, fresh water, clean air, unlimited move, sunshine, natural shade and stables protecting against the hardships of the weather – these are all available for our animals.
Grazing and the frequent and plentiful green fodder play a main role in the feeding programme of our slaughter animals which have a beneficial effect both on the good health of our animals and on the taste and quality of our products. This is how the tasty meat of our free-range waterfowl reaches the table of our consumers.
Our field, our fodder - Quality is not coincidence
You are what you eat – goes the saying, and it is also true for our poultry. Therefore, the highest priorities for us are healthy fodder and the well-being of our animals. In our family farming we aim for self-supply: we produce the grain for our free-range geese and ducks or we buy it from local farmers.
The location and soil structure of our fields enable the production of various plants. This way we can provide various and highly nutritious raw material for fodder. Our local feed mill plant ensures that we can always provide our poultry with healthy and properly composed nourishment.
